Sam is an experienced Podiatrist who has a passion for adventure and endurance sports, namely Ironman and marathon running. She grew up in the Bayside area and graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice.
Through these experiences she gained extensive knowledge and passion for injury prevention and enhancing athletic performance to ensure people are kicking goals in all their sporting pursuits.
She has a Certificate IV in Personal Training, Dry Needling and further studies in running gait and performance. What she loves most about Podiatry is the variety of practice and helping keep people active. Having worked at a specialty shoe store she has extensive knowledge of footwear and the impact it has on the feet.
She loves a challenge particularly preventing blisters. She has all the tips and tricks having completed 5 Oxfam Trailwalkers and can confirm not a blister in sight after 100kms!
She qualified for Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii 2019, after winning her age group at Ironman Australia.
If you don’t find her running or cycling down Beach Road, she’ll be cooking up a storm or on an adventure exploring new places.
