What does a podiatrist home visit involve?

Setting up a home visit with our podiatry service is straightforward. Just give our clinic a call or go online and book an appointment with one of our podiatrists, and we’ll arrange a convenient time for the visit.

Once scheduled, the home appointment mirrors the clinic experience. We create a treatment area, ensure a comfy seating spot for patients, and bring all instruments back to the clinic for thorough sterilisation after each visit.

During the appointment, much like in the clinic, the podiatrist performs a comprehensive foot examination to catch any potential issues. We provide necessary treatments like nail care, callus removal and wound care. Our podiatrists also offer valuable advice on maintaining healthy feet and preventing foot-related conditions.

Patients typically have appointments every 6 to 10 weeks, depending on their condition. For some cases, more frequent visits may be necessary, and we’re flexible to accommodate those needs.

Our services extend to NDIS participants, and we collaborate with GPs, Royal District Nurses and other care providers to ensure a seamless and integrated care approach for our patients.
